The Arizona District Export Council (DEC) assists the Phoenix and Tucson
Export Assistance Centers of the U.S. Commercial Service, implementing the
Commerce Department’s export promotion programs and directives. The
council is composed of business and trade experts from Arizona companies
who are appointed by the Secretary of Commerce and serve without
compensation.
Some of the council's activities include educational seminars, one-on-one
counseling to assist companies enter new markets, trade show promotions
and coordination of export promotions activities at the local and national
level. Together with assorted state and local organizations throughout the
state, both public and private, we pool our resources in promoting Arizona
products and services throughout the world
